Just doing some research whilst watching NCIS: LA. This probably means I’m not concentrating fully on either of them.

I now have 4 days off work, which means I can spend a lot of time trying to write my essay and moving from library to coffee shop to library so I don’t get complacent about working (I have to change place every couple of hours or I lose concentration. Fun fact). 

I’ve been spending the last couple of days at work looking at new things to stock, which is really exciting, because it means finding new books and cards and working out what to get. I like the moments I find something unexpected, like today I was looking through a book list and found 2 volumes of McSweeneys (which I almost bought a while back, and now I’m going to order them).

Yesterday evening I walked about 3 miles - I haven’t walked that far in a while, it was a nice change. And good to have some exercise…
