We Are The Tide

Yesterday was spent in London. Went to Columbia Road, and bought a cupcake. Then to SoHo for lunch and seeing the Hummingbird Bakery (which was really cool, especially the packaging for their takeaway cupcakes).

To Covent Garden and the London Transport Museum shop, which is pretty awesome - I bought a diary for next year (way too early I know) which has an underground map on the outside and stickers and it’s colourful and…just the best. Also bought some notebooks with old style world maps on - again, awesome. We also saw this car, which had a singing man and a robotic bear in it, and blew out lots of bubbles.

Then we went to Greenwich Park. (On the DLR!) Walked up to the Observatory and looked out over London. Greenwich is probably one of my favourite parts of London now. It feels different there, away from the crowds, sitting by the river.

I fell asleep on the train home. Too much excitement for one day. This morning I woke up the latest I have in a while: 7:45am. I’ve been having strange dreams recently, not least the one I had this morning where I was convinced that the architectural features of the Ca’ d’Oro had something to do with Homer Simpson’s head.

Cake making and essay writing today.
